Traditional wedding photography is super expensive.  There are some reasons that make it understandably pricey such as extremely long days, even longer nights of editing, and having to bring in a second shooter.  However, when you have a pop-up wedding you will only need the photographer for an hour, two hours max.  But do you need that second shooter?  After all, you will still have some guests and you want to be able to have some fun memories with them as well.

Enter the selfie station!  Our pop-up wedding photographers will certainly capture some pictures of the family, spend the majority of the focus on you and your partner, and then take portraits of you and your partner after the wedding.  Why not create a fun selfie station for your family to take super fun pics in front of during the time you are posing for pro-pics with the photographer?  Want the down and dirty on how to make a selfie station?  Here is what you need:

Backdrop or Props

Either create a simple backdrop using streamers or just have a table with a basket of props near a natural background (tree, gate, building, etc.)

Sign

Near the backdrop or props should be a sign that says “Selfie Station” so people know what they are supposed to do there.

Umm, yea, that’s it. Simple, fun, and on the trend.  Ready to get started planning your fun pop-up wedding?  Contact Pop The Knot today!
