Between the crisp, cool weather and deep red hues, the fall season is growing more and more popular for weddings. But, it’s easy to feel stuck in a decor rut when it comes to an autumn wedding. Brides and grooms sometimes assume their venue must be decorated with the standard fall palette, but this isn’t the case. To help you out with your fall wedding planning, our expert pop-up wedding planners have put together 3 Fall Wedding Myths Busted.

You Have to Use Fall Foliage

We’re not recommending to go all out with spring pastels. But, you don’t just have to stick to the typical fall foliage colors, like brown and orange. Instead, you could go for plum, cream, navy blue, or even gold combinations.

Bridesmaids Need to Wear Heavy Satin

It’ll work just as well to have your ladies dressed up in lightweight silk. At the end of the day, it’s more important for your bridesmaids to feel comfortable and confident in their dresses. Need some dress color ideas? Try crimson, dark green, or deep purple.

Your Wedding Has to be Indoors

If you’ve always dreamed of having an outdoor ceremony, don’t let the fall season stop you! Set out large heaters, provide plenty of blankets, and warn your guests to bring jackets. Once the sun sets, however, it’s probably a good idea to head indoors.

As you can see, the options are endless. Don’t let the 3 Fall Wedding Myths busted stop you! And feel free to check out some of our wedding packages designed for the fall!
